i had 2 issues with this set. first of all, it is monogramed & engraved on the picture, but no where in the check out process did it allow me to add that to my purchase. Also, the cork stopper at the top of the vase is glass & kind of wobbles around in it. It is not a sealed top & if it tips over sand will be all over the place as it is not secured.

The glass heart doesn't fit right into the holder, I'm afraid when we pour the sand into it we're going to knock over the heart glass bottle because it moves very easily! Also, the stopper doesn't fit correctly either... it will look good sitting on a shelf but let's hope it doesn't break before then :-)

I bought this item because I liked everything that comes along with it, and the price is not bad compared to others that I had looked at.
Although I did understand why some other people gave this item a low rating. The top of the container is not stable, it wobbles around. If this jar ever got knocked over all the sand would fall out. I guess I will just get another lid that is tight for it.
Other wise the presentation is really nice, and the heart flutes worked out great!

I was slightly disappointed that this company didnt call to customize this item with engraving but fully satisfied with the product itself. it got here in a timely manner all pieces together. I originally found this item at David's Bridal for 60.00 and was WELL pleased to find it on amazon for 20 bucks cheaper. Luckily i know how to do the engraving part myself so with a little bit of time and patience i will have it customized for a wonderful personal piece!!

We purchased this set for our wedding sand ceremony. We were very pleased with how pretty the vases are.
Only complaint would be the stand is a bit flimsy (we will be replacing it) and the surface is too curved to get it successfully engraved with anything other than an initial or two.... (for this reason I would suggest using thier engraving service). We had it engraved with our wedding logo at our local "remembered" store, but they were unable to successfully complete the engraving due to the heart surface being too curved. They warned us before hand that it may not be possible. Thankfully enough of it was completed to see the design and we used it in our ceremony.
Would highly recommend, just make note of the engraving issues and have the seller engrave it for you.
