 Great Gift--but expensive!Jan 08, 2011

Luckily I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law--who loved it! She didn't have to see the price tag. I would not have bought it for myself--but it made a great gift!

My hair is nearly to my waist and pretty thick. I like to pull it back most everyday but was looking for something different than just a ponytail. This is perfect! I got the 5" long one and it's a solid piece. I wrap my hair in a bun, stick the pin through, and voila! Done for the rest of the day. I even use it for going to the gym to keep my hair out of the way. Sometimes it does slide out a bit when I've been bouncing around for 1/2 hr. or more (really moving.) This hair accessory is pretty, very practical, and will last a long, long time.

I still use this but not as often. Not a flaw with the accessory, but my changing style. I've started to use bobby pins more. This is still very nice and more noticeable than plain bobby pins, but I just needed a change. I'm sure I will use this and come back to it when I get bored with this style. :) I can't tell any use or abuse after this time.
