The Unity Sand Ceremony is a novel alternative for the popular "unity candle ceremony" incorporated into many of today's weddings. The essence is to symbolize the union of "two into one". This sand version is not only beautiful and interesting, but also more appropriate for an outdoor setting. With the addition of fresh flowers, these distinctive vases will make an intriguing addition to a home's decor.
The addition of coordinating miniature nesting vases and contrasting colors of sand allows children to be invited to take part in a "Family Sand Ceremony". Standard vase requires 2 bags of sand. each vase 3 3/4" x 2" x 8" H | | | Features: | |

Keep lookingSep 20, 2010
By A. Greene I loved the modern look of these vases, but here is why I didn't love them:
1- there is no way to seal them, I didn't think about this before buying and after moving 3 times (my hubby is in the military) we have almost no sand left!
2- The Monogrammed etching is really hard to make out. We used white and red sand and you can barely see it. On the empty vases you really can't tell it's there at all.
3- the pieces don't nest perfectly together. they just look like they would.
4- tops of vases are rough cuts, not smooth. It really seems like you could cut yourself.
We are renewing our vows and I'm looking for new vases to replace these.
Looks Great -- Lacks FunctionOct 25, 2011
By Rebecca E. Ahern The vases are really beautiful, but have some drawbacks. First thing I noticed is the glass is thin. I'm constantly afraid of breaking them. Second, they are difficult to use in the sand unity ceremony. The vases become difficult to pour sand as you continue pouring. It's also pretty much impossible to pour both together.
Nice Product!Aug 20, 2009
By Katie F. I really liked the contemporary look of these vases. When they arrived, they are a little smaller than I thought they would be, but I think they will be perfect for our wedding.
The only issue I see with this product is that the glass on top of each vase is a little rough, but it's not noticeable and not a huge deal in my opinion.
