I actually bought this to use with a china cap food strainer. It was the only one I found that was long enough for the strainer and I then relized that it is perfect for the tall glasses as shown...no more short Mojitos!
Great for both muddeling friut and herbs in drinks and pushing all that goodness through the china cap for "Lina's famous lobster bisque!"

Since I've never used any other type of muddler it's difficult to compare, but this seems to be a great product. I like the fact that it's natural wood, has a good weight, long enough for tall glasses, and has a comfortable grip.
