PatheticJul 07, 2010
By Dave Don't waste your time or money on this one. Low quality, don't work well. I have owned many of these products in the past and they all worked fine. Not so with this brand.

Don't work with glass bottlesJun 27, 2010
By A. Sorkin The rubber expansion ring that is supposed to engage the inside neck of the bottle doesn't expand enough and/or expands irregularly. So it doesn't stay in place or seal the bottle. If there is any pressure in the bottle, e.g., soda, it completely or partially pops out. Even without pressure, it doesn't seal. Other kinds of level stoppers work, but these don't.

Inexpensive and work wellJul 26, 2009

Bought these to replace several I purchased about 8 years ago. The plasic on the old ones was starting to crack and the rubber seals were wearing out. These new ones are a little lighter than my old ones but very similar. If you put slight downward pressure on the cap to hold it against the wine bottle before you actuate the metal lever they work fine. At this price for 6 of them even if one or more breaks after month or so it's still cheaper than many other ones on the market. Service from the lower priced Amazon vendor was great. Note: there was one vendor who seemed to be overcharging for these so go with the lower priced one (6 for less than $12).
