Not thrilled with evening bag..When I opened box there was a chemical smell. I needed a gold bag for a wedding and I probably will use it. The material is ok, the gold is brassy and the bag is very stiff...I didn't want to spend a lot so I guess you get what you pay for

The shoulder strap is braided not a chain as the Amazon product description said. It does not look that nice.

The cord strap on the silver bag appears to match the champagne bag -- not a very nice look. I'm going to substitute a silvertone metal chain (with a bit of handsewing), so will keep the bag, anyway. Bag is constructed of fairly stiff cardboard, padded and covered with fabric.
