I ordered this basket not wanting anything to frilly or fancy, and thought it would suffice. I read other reviews stating it was small but would be fine for 3 or 4 year old flower girl. NOT the case! Unless your flower girl is 1 or a very small 2 year old, this basket would be MUCH too small, and your flower girl would run out of flowers before she makes it half way down the aisle. However, if your flower girl is a toddler, it is a cute, simple basket that would be perfect for her. Luckily Amazon is great with returns, so I am not stuck with this basket.
Actual measurements: 7in. tall, 5in. across the widest part of the basket (the opening), 4in. base.

Although the basket I ordered was smaller than I had imagined, it alrived well before the specified time frame and was carefully packaged.

Bought this basket for my March 2012 wedding. My daughter is 4 and I thought the look of this basket is very simple elegant and cute! Well I was 3/4 right.....it is very simple, elegant and cute but it is wayyyyyy to tiny!
Over all I rated this a 5 star because it's my fault I did not read the measurements. I love the simple elegant look of the basket and I am going to keep it for my baby girl who will be going on 8 months at the time of my wedding ->(hopefully I can get her to hold it and take a lovely picture with her big sister and brother who are all standing in my wedding. She is also wearing the same dress as my oldest daughter who is the flower girl:) so I think they are ging to look awesome!!!)
But any way back to my review.....I will just have to find a bigger similar one for my 4 year old now :D

I bought this basket for my one year old to use when she was a flower girl. The basket was so adorable. It is pretty tiny, but that's exactly why I bought it since my daughter is pretty small. We glued a row of tiny pearls at the bottom and it made it look a little more fancy. Because of the size, I would probably not order this for anyone over 3 years old.

Just what I expected for my 2 year old niece who's being a flower girl. I embellished it with small silk flowers, pearls, ribbons and tiny rhinestones and it really turned out like a beautiful jewel.I glued all embellishements with a glue gun and tackly glue. It's small, but perfect size for what I wanted.
